A CISCO SolutionsPlus Preferred partner, Spectralink will be demoing the ruggedized PIVOT:SC in Booth 2933 that is based on the Android™ OS, with Google™ certification. It will also be showing its DECT portfolio with multiple IP, digital and hybrid handset options to flexibly meet the needs of mobile workers. The PIVOT:SC also supports Cisco Spark to bring together people, processes and data that enhance productivity and improve collaboration.
Since Spectralink joined the SolutionsPlus program in early 2016, the relationship between Cisco and Spectralink has strengthened to offer a comprehensive and diverse portfolio. Cisco and its partners can offer customers the only Cisco-certified enterprise mobility solutions that include the PIVOT:SC, DECT handsets and servers, handsets, accessories and support – all directly available on the Cisco Global Price List (GPL). These solutions empower mobile workforces in healthcare, retail, manufacturing and hospitality to do their jobs more effectively and efficiently.
"Spectralink is very pleased with our growing relationship with Cisco, and we're looking forward to participating in our second Cisco Live! Las Vegas event," said Ashish Sharma, CMO of Spectralink. "Our enterprise mobility solutions have been beneficial to Cisco and its partners in helping their customers mobilize their workforces."
The PIVOT:SC camera/scanner's speed and accuracy was recently verified by independent research conducted by The Tolly Group, who compared the PIVOT:SC 8744 to the Zebra MC40. Test results showed that the Spectralink PIVOT:SC had a faster average scan time than the dedicated hardware-based Zebra MC40. Testing also showed that the Spectralink PIVOT:SC recognized more symbologies than Zebra at 37 to 24, and could match Zebra's scanning accuracy when angled 15 degrees. To view the report, click here. Copies will also be available in the Spectralink booth.
In addition, The PIVOT:SC and its new camera/barcode scanner were recognized with a 2017 INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year Award from TMC, a global, integrated media company.
